About us

Archway Glasgow is a specialist service that provides support for people who have been raped or sexually assaulted.

You can access our service with or without the police.

More information on accessing our service can be found on our Support page.

We are an NHS service

We are an NHS service, known as a Sexual Assault Response Coordination Service, or a SARCS.

There are several of these across Scotland. You can find more information here: NHS inform: Turn to SARCS

The areas we cover

We are based in Glasgow but offer care across the West of Scotland.

If someone contacts us who doesn’t live in Glasgow, we can let them know about services (SARCS) closer to them and arrange an appointment for them there, if this is what they prefer.

Our team

Our staff are trained healthcare professionals specialising in assault care.

Our administration staff have also been trained in trauma-informed practice, so that everyone you meet at Archway Glasgow is able to give you appropriate care and treatment.

We are a female staff team, but will do our best to accommodate requests to speak to a male practitioner.

“We’re here to look after and support you. You’re in control.” – Paula, Archway Glasgow nurse

Getting here

We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but as we are an appointment-only service, please be sure to call us before attending clinic.

While our main address is 120 – 130 William Street, our patient entrance is actually on St Vincent Terrace, at the back of the building.

The map below shows you the best ways to get here.

Google Maps / Sat Navs

  • When searching ‘Archway Glasgow’ we currently do not show on Google Maps. We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it.
  • Please input ‘130 William street, G3 8UR’. We have heard inputting ‘120 William Street’ will cause some applications to direct you to the wrong address.
  • Please note that your app may still direct you to access us via the William Street entrance. Please use the map above to find our patient entrance on St Vincent Terrace.

If you need help finding us, please don’t hesitate to call us.
